Spring Dance

The record player's cranking out your favorite tune. What? Is your partner leaving? Don't let it rain on your parade. It's Spring and your feet are restless. Get up and dance!

Heralding in Spring

I got way behind in my posts. This drawing was done this past spring. The double entendre is fairly obvious. Those pig-tails looking rather like horns - the kind that you blow into - to herald in something.

Steam Powered Chair

Wouldn't it be great to have a nice easy chair that you could take out for a spin on a sunny day? This imaginary prototype offers six forward speeds in a reclined position. The power system uses steam generated by a small nuclear reactor located under the seat. Please be forewarned that special reinforced floors will be required if the chair is to be brought into the house. The lead lining required to protect the occupant from the reactor brings the total weight of the chair up to about 3000 pounds.

Incubator

In Q, In Bee, In Cept, In Q bator. Incubator. Dry science on wheels squeaking. No lemons, no squeezing.

Solar

Appropriate for today I'd say. Maryland is having a rather pleasant warming spell - the big February melt. Mind you, one still has to watch where one steps. But, its mud and not ice that one watches out for. In my drawing the ground appears to have grown legs. I wanted to contrast a living earth to the solar machine above.

Waiting for the New One

Its all about the birds and the bees, or maybe the cats and the mice.

Two Little Ones

I had in mind maybe doing some ACEO's (Art Card, Editions and Originals). These are two tests.

The King and I

Here's a hint: That little creature at the bottom is a mouth. Can you see the eyes floating above? Now the question: Is that me or the king?

Fall

Fall, as in the season, and as in "all fall down". I've experienced both - many times in fact.

Dazed And Confused

Do you ever find yourself recalling songs from your past? I had my very own "Best of Led Zepplin" rattling through my head when I drew this. See the blimp at the top?

Family Room

I have four kids, so at my house the walls have ears because the Waugh's have ears. And in this drawing the coffee table and chairs have eyes and mouths. My wife, the dog, the cat, and I are in there too.

Aliens and Robots

And maybe a few space ships thrown in for good measure. Once again, I find myself homing in on the most important concerns of the day.

Night Vision

This drawing was named after the moon man in the upper right wearing the mono-goggle. It was done late in 2010 - at night of course.

Kiss the 60's Goodbye

This is the next on the series. A winged kiss, the grim reaper's staff, and a farting light bubble thingy. I don't know about you, but for me that definitely sums up the 60's.

A New Idea
